Gravedigger was almost a founder of the Coalition of Corruption.
History[]
Gregory was born in London, England. He aced his way through school, college and university, rapidly becoming recognised as one of England's top geophysicists. However, his prowess derived partly from his geokinetic abilities; abilities he used to secretly lead a life of crime as the supervillain Gravedigger.
When his secret identity was uncovered, Gravedigger fled England, causing havoc across Europe until a Swiss hero defeated him. The authorities faced a problem - no normal prison could hold a man capable of controlling stone. So a special facility, Gefängnacht, was created to hold him.
To Rule the World![]
Gregory was broken free by Mr. Mystery and Doctor Danger, offering him an alliance. He accepted at once, and boarded a tiltrotor where they, plus Renaissance, flew to the Apex Space Research Centre to recruit another villain. However, the resident villain got the drop on the group by instantly crushing Gregory with gravitic force.

Gregory had no significant relationships with anyone, having lived for years in solitary confinement.

Gregory possessed powerful geokinesis, and could manipulate earth and stone to his will. He was also a fully qualified geophysicist.
